Two courthouses, two different buildings
Savannah and Chatham County are not consolidated. Superior Court sits at the Chatham County Courthouse, 133 Montgomery Street, while the State Court of Chatham County — the usual venue for a car accident claim, with civil jurisdiction concurrent with Superior Court and no dollar limit — sits separately at the Eugene H. Gadsden Courthouse, 400 West Oglethorpe Avenue. Chatham County alone forms the Eastern Judicial Circuit.

Georgia’s two-year deadline
